No thin bezels. Sony just wants to sell sensors. I actually emailed Kaz Hirai about it. If they still don't wake up, I will stop supporting them.

It looks like a phone with thick bezels again and again.
I think the display would be bigger if they use small bezels. I would buy a sony phone with 5,5"-5,7" screen and small bezels!

Battery needs to be at least 3000mah. I dont care about bezelless display. All i want killing performance with excellent battery life and affordable price. Hope sony will give us that!. 600$ is a good price for this

So we will have imx400 for 2017 IFA and 2018 MWC high end (maybe a " XZ1s")
September 2018: Compact, Standard and Premium Oled. Also imx500.

Not sure if that could help stabilisation.

Anonymous, 08 Aug 2017That one is for Mate 10. Sony would rather use 21:9. Dony does not like 18:94K selfie, I like that. Finally all pixels of the front used. I would also like that 21:9 xperia, if with 4K+ resolution - even better. At least it would be one of standard ratios, different from rest also. Hope they got similar foldable tech too, next years seems hot for that king of tech, they shouldn't stay behind. No leaks though.

Next sensor only september/2018Yes still IMX400, or maybe a little further moving, like IMX450, but whatever the name is, this sensor is outstanding.
Processing is just affected by the lack of a good image stabilizer, which I hope they will add one already, as it's the only thing that pulls it back.
Also too high ISO in low light, especially on smartphones, is not good because of how tiny these sensors are.
I would have preferred even 16mp, but so long as it gives great results, I'll be fine with it.
In fact, I have tried myself an XZ Premium, and tested its camera quality. It was a well lit indoor situation and the results aren't as bad as many people claim it to be.
I, in fact, find it even sharper than the ones that the S8 produces - another flagship phone that I also tried to inspect the camera quality.

Their phone design has become worse compared to the early x and z if you seen it
Bezels are very huge and their devices are overpriced, even their midrange offering is very bad, no fingerprint sensor like seriously

Why a buy an xz now when the xz1 will be out and when it is actually out they would be releasing an xz2

Auto mode recognizes as very low light scene and increases ISO.
Not like night scene only.
Auto will never give you Shutter Speed 0.5s + ISO 100.
Probably 0.15s + 800 ISO
