if you will get a silicone case (like the one i have on my Note 4), you can safely drop it time to time.
Curved edges not only give glares, but they significantly decrease durability of the glass, it becomes much more fragile. Also if you saw user reviews, many complain that curved edges on S8 (for example) prevent protective cases from holding phone firmly.
Curved edges is basically an expensive PITA.

THIS (Xiaomi mi mix 2) looks like the perfect replacement for my Galaxy Note 4.

Hmm, this render looks like it is fan-made, since it even has the same wallpaper of the original Mi Mix. It's almost too good to be true.
But if this turns out to be indeed real, that would be simply amazing! And thank goodness they have stayed away from cutting out part of the screen like Apple, Essential & Sharp.

Wouldn't mind using even external selfie/360 camera if front screen stays intact, not like essential. Same as with fingerprint, futuristic if under screen it will be. Cannot expect much but with top speaker being so original and cool, wouldn't mind another new tech.
