ASUS is really confident with their pricing.
They have to know that most selfies are degraded with filters to soften and lighten the skin. A higher resolution sensor will be useless and the 5MP is decent and should provide better low light performance.

Your comment may be more appropriate if it's Zenfone 4 or other non-selfie centric edition.

I'm currently using a Zenfone Max to type this comment and I just don't know what happened to your design team.
From the very unique design of the Zenfone 2 series to the "meh" of Zenfone 3 series, up to this "Samsung-wannabe" design. Who would get this SD625 for $350 when SD820 can now be found even for $300? Are they lost?
Oh, and how about at least a 2K screen? 5.5" should always get that as a minimum, because I can still accept 1080p for 5-5.4" but definitely not at 5.5" and beyond.
Zenfone 2 will be the last great device Asus has ever made.
The supposedly branded "excellent value for money" company has just turned into Apple's pathway of success - greediness.
