It's hard to imagine the merits of such a lawsuit when the only alternative to inconvenience is a a phone possibly exploding in buyers' hands (which was proven to be possble under normal usage patterns).
It was one or the other; the recall was a no-brainer.

I said if that group of people really wanted to win over Samsung, they should've acquired Apple on their side.
Oh, and Apple is just as big of a player as Samsung.
And they do have more profits, because Samsung gets theirs mostly from budget and mid rangers only, while Apple gets theirs from flagships and their excemplary iPads and SmartWatches, which all cost more than any Samsung product.

People got at least $200 worth of free stuff for each of the Note7 recalled and they want more. Most of us got at least 2 free 256GB.

Well it is not ok... I bought a note 7 and it was a danger piece of electronics to have it around... So some stupid gifts and 50% on s8 piece od sh***t phone is not enough...
Korea is known as samsung land and real power there is samsung so it is stupid to think that they are gonna win on the court...

The way Samsung dealt with the problem was soo good that they dont deserve a fine by these people... their 8 point check system makes samsung thereselves much more trustworthy and better in my eyes.

Greedy customer. They got refund and money back. Yet still want more money and compensation. Lol. All they end up getting is humiliation. Now, it all over the news they lost the law suit. So stupid. Recall is inconvienient but it is acceptable move by Samsung.

I know those people really wanted their Note 7 back, and maybe Samsung could've offered them a Note FE, but it's not like they did it with a lack of responsiveness and professionalism. It was remarkably well taken in charge.

Samsung handled the situation well, to be honest. No reason for these people to keep pushing the issue. Looks like they really look up to western culture where they file a lawsuit, whenever they have the chance.
