Asus makes beautiful laptops, as you can see on the photo. I wish their phones looked better though, and worked better. It really stands out negatively next to their laptop on that photo!

ASUS is crazy. In 2015 the Zenphone 2 was released providing a quality experience for a fraction of the price. This generated the company to grow about 500% from 2014. Zenphone 3 lead to products arriving late to market, increased prices to poor choices. Zenphone 4 now is expensive an is lacking in various area. Camera, Software features, Design, Chipset, this phone should be priced at 350 euro

Asus lost its sanity. They didn't learn the last time they priced their mid-range specd phones with more premium prices. I thought may be Zenfone 4 would be their redemption, but nah, they even brought it even higher! One word... SUICIDE.

Guess what will I do after the extreme fragility of my Zenfone Max? (After just one single face down concrete drop that cracked the screen has also damaged the proximity sensor and made the volume up button very incommunicable)

Yep, no more Asus phones. Camera is also mediocre at the best.
My Zenfone Max suffers from camera lags (10 times of clicking the gallery in the camera app and still no response) along with just disappointing video capability (no AF, WTF?!!!) and I'm seriously trying to find something good about this phone other than the battery life (which others already has it beaten).

I'm thinking of getitng rid of it as soon as possible and get a factory fresh old flagship phone, and I'm leaning towards an S7 Edge for $300 or maybe the V20 for the same price as well.

Sorry Asus, after the terrible experience, this Zenfone Max will be the first and last smartphone of yours that I will ever try. If plastic phone of yours even gets wrecked easily, I just can't imagine how worse will your glass phones do.
Gorilla Glass 4 that offers flower vase build quality.
