i saw someone talking about symbian before. Symbian was actually the main operating system for all phones previous to all the ones now. Nokia with it's symbian software dominated the market overseas. Too bad no one really knows about that over here. Symbian was the best operating system for a phone at the time.

there's no doubt this phone will make it to the US but it will be watered down just like everything else just so that they can make th market fair for already existing companies

But my sister who lives in Japan says that mobile phones on that form factor... moreWell, it does have twice the body size of a tablet form factor. Not to forget the moving parts in the hinge that might make more units failed to get pass the QC desk in the factory.
There's stigma that flip phones got broken more easily (again, the moving parts) so can't expect as many peoples buying it as the candybar, or even slides.

Dont care what u americans say about symbian. I bet you never even had a symbian phone. I tell you i had a n73, n95 and an n95 8 gb and these devices were like laptops! Lots of things you can do on them but CANT do on iphone!

I'm not sure if you are aware of Japanese character ... moreWrong wrong wrong wrong wrong - inputting Japanese characters into a computer or indeed a phone uses the Roman alphabet (that's A-Z to you) - as every word can be written in hiragana or katakana script - the kanji are merely characters which represent compound hiragana (and can therefore be selected thusly) - so it is no more difficult than learning to spell correctly or indeed to write out the letters of the alphabet.
The Japanese have always been waaaay ahead of everyone else when it comes to phones - it is just a damn shame we won't get to see much of their tech outside of their borders.
