Thats why im never going back to android. I spent 700€ on a phone and they barely have 2 years of support with updates.

AnonD-657131, 12 Aug 2017Nope they only change miui numbers with little changebthe OS is still sameMi devices look same in any Any Android os instead they try to upgrade miui with some additional features they try to add just like split screen for any devices even Android 4.3 just because of miui. I know after some time phone hardware get outdated but 1 and 1/2 year phone get discontinued like 1+ doing. As a customer I'm paying more then 500$ so I expect some stable updates or software reliability but they make excuses. So compared one + miui is better.

I think my current xiaomi mi3 is best compared others brands. Same goes to others mi phones. MI is not best for fast updates but still they try hard to provide software updates to their all devices even 4 years old devices. My mi3 come with 4.4 with miui 5, now currently running 6.0 (miui 8). and next few months they planing to launch 7.1 (miui 9).

AnonD-66956, 12 Aug 2017Lol. Ahahah Actually, s7 series might received the android p and it will be probably the last major update, since the s6 was released in 2015 and still received the nougat, while the oneplus 2 was released later (but still in 2015) that didn't received the nougat.

One plus is turning into joke they are releasing a single phone per year even then they can't make it right recently they released OP5 which is full of issues and to make matter worse they are dropping android updates for 1 year old device.
I don't understand why One plus need to spend on those stupid ads as they are already popular among people instead they could have sold OP5 for 22-25k
One plus is no more a innovate company they used to be and slowly OP is losing its charm it is no more value for money device which used to be.

OnePlus is a small company.It may sound bad for many, but it's what it really is.
Yeah it's kinda small company, but I don't think that should stop them from offering good software system updates and support.

Just admit it, 1+ don't give a fuck about their consumers, their fans. 'never settle' is practically a horseshit, marketing shit. They just want a sell out to bunch of idiot 1+sheeps.
Oh and don't get me wrong, i totally understand, i don't blame them, it's their business model, it's their marketing strategy and apparently it's working, so i love that they succeed. See, they do just the same thing Apple does. Not only marketing strategy that's the same apparently (i mean look, at 1+5, hahaha just look at it). Their designer doesn't even bother to make their homework remotely slightly different so the teacher won't find out (every jokes intended).
With all that, still they're not worth my money, i prefer the Mi6 all the way around. Same spec, same shit service and support but with $200 less? That sounds like a good deal, the best deal in the history of trade deals.
