Associate yourself with a lifestyle, HTC. Don't just sell specs - enable a lifestyle.

Oppo/Vivo did it with casual selfies.
GoPro did it with more adventurous selfies.
Apple is Apple; Samsung is the Anti-Apple.
Sony is trying to cram their TVs into phones to please the Netflix crowd.

HTC can try the Spotify route - dunno how that would work, though.

AnonD-1385, 14 Aug 2017I'm a Samsung fan but I'm NOT biased. HTC do make innovative phones and of course their sound ... moreBecause they have poor marketing...close to zero marketing skills.

Just one time HTC...spend on Marketing. Get a proper Marketing firm. The RDJ ads failed miserably. You have such great products unfortunately no one knows where to buy your phones or if they even exist.

Htc don't know how to launch mid ranges device from 300$-500$, old processors, old android version especially no update for midranges only for flagships only, no fingerprint sensor in some devices, no good battery backup so many worst thing still need to come with different idea to over come this

AnonD-632062, 14 Aug 2017The lack of the 3.5 mm headphone jack in the HTC flagships must have put off a lot of customers. And their release of HTC U ULTRA, which made the customers disappointed due to the price of the smartphone

I'm a Samsung fan but I'm NOT biased. HTC do make innovative phones and of course their sound system is probably the best to ever grace smartphones. I don't know why their profit margin isn't greater.
