AnonD-1825, 14 Aug 2017Looks like more and more people are finding Apple watch. Good words spreadsNaa tiny ugly ill shaped lil screen. Find the youtube vids where people were shown $20 Casio watches with the ap$le logo on , and they went wild saying how the quality stands out being ap$le.You can give em anything with that trade mark on, the media has made them stupid.Just look how the media here has made THIS story ALL about the third runner up, naa they are just naff and girly cheap accessory looking, like cose jewelry.

No surprises here. Xiaomi's products have quality and true price that nobody else can match.

Is there REALLY a market for wearables?
Or just a novelty case? You know, curiosity based on cheap prices.

Does anyone really use cellular data on a smartwatch? Why would I waste my mobile data streaming music (the only reason you'd EVER need cellular data in a smartwatch), when you could just download it to your watch directly? My Gear S2 doesn't have LTE connectivity, and I don't need it!!!

“Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the western spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small unregarded yellow sun. Orbiting this at a distance of roughly ninety-two million miles is an utterly insignificant little blue green planet whose ape-descended life forms are so amazingly primitive that they still think digital watches are a pretty neat idea.”

Well, to be fair, they're comparing wearables, not smartwatches. I don't really get what you guys are complaining about.

I've been using the Mi Band for a few months now and it's nearly the perfect wearable for me. I get to gauge how much exercise I got from the step counter and I can keep my phone on mute while not missing calls. It also lasts ages on a single charge (almost a month), which is fantastic. All of this in a (imo) goodlooking package at a super cheap price is just great.

Only way this could be better is with a screen with better sunlight legibility, a more watchlike design and some way to control music playback.

$15.00 fitness trackers and $400.00 smart watches. Yeah, they’re absolutely comparable for comparison. LOL.

I always get a kick when those analyst throw together step counters with actual smartwatches. The Xiaomi step counter starts at $15.
