It's kind of funny to read people's comments about the Kirin 970 having a weak GPU when the exynos and SD always end up throttling pitifully because it heats up too much. Kirins, in real world tests have proven to be much more stable and smoother in long-term gaming on phones because their GPU doesn't throttle as much compared to their competition. So you guys can go ahead and compare spreadsheets of theoretical performances that only cater to 5 minute benchmarks while the rest of us enjoy stable and fluid game play from chips that are looked down upon for not benching well. You guys can have your 20 cluster GPU and High-end Adreno that throttles down and only works at half-speed after 20 min anyways coz it got too hot.

Chipset is a joke, it will never be on par with anything with their measly gpus, chipset will be outated already in couple of months time when need exynos and Snapdragon will start to come up with new gpus and cpus

if mate 10 price < Samsung note 8 then I will give it a shot.
Huawei please work harder to beat Samsung....(maybe another 5-10 yrs time?)

in terms of gpu, I guess 12cores are sufficient to play hardcore games. If u can combine CPU + GPU efficiency that can match QUALCOMM / exynos / A10 I would say its a big leap forward.

It is great to see more manufactures of processors, that is great for consumers and reinforces the market competition which is good for consumers around the world now regarding the performance of this processors I've seen that they perform really good

I hope they use the new microarchitecture:
(under) 1.6GHz, Quadcore Cortex A35
(over) 2.4GHz, Quadcore Cortex A75
(over) 700MHz, Mali G72-MP12

A simple bump to 10nm node is nothing special. I'd rather a spec bump in the actual microarchitecture, that's where the real gains in efficiency come from!

Anonymous, 15 Aug 2017V30, Note8, Mate10 You forgot the others...Nokia 8, Note 8, iPhone 8, Mate 10, V30, Essential, XZ1, maybe more. We will see where the numbers will go. Gsmarena, after these phones announcements and going on sales, make a poll with these phones to see which draws more attention
