robogo, 15 Aug 2017Pricing it 1000$ makes it directly compete with the Galaxy Note 8. A battle which the Mate 10 ... moreLmao good joke. The note series is whack now. Dont you remembered what happened last year?!
Mate 9 > Note 7
Same will happen this year. Note 8 is basically an S8 Plus with an S pen
Anonymous, 15 Aug 2017over 1000$ are they crazy lol ? only samsung can go away with those prices.. no way this phone... moreQuality? lmao... the Note 8 is fragile af. The Mate 10 will be pure metal so its way stronger. Plus it doesnt have a curved screen whihc means less chnace of cracked screens and it makes it easier for people to buy a tempered glass screen protector.
EMUI is almost as feature packed as Lagwiz but with way less lag :P
Anonymous, 15 Aug 2017over 1000$ are they crazy lol ? only samsung can go away with those prices.. no way this phone... moreJust having a functioning fingerprint reader is worth more than all the meaningless extra functions on the note 8.
tanase, 15 Aug 20171000$ I hope this phone cook's my meal Make sure the iPhone 8 does too, and the samsung galaxy note 8
I had All Galaxys until now, missing IR blaster some years now. That's why I changed to Mate 9. It is so much better phone! Yes, it lacks heartbeat reader and display is (only (are we all stupid)) full HD. Who does not know Huawei phones, does not know the power of Android.
But still, i simply do not want to pay 800€ and more for a phone. I'll wait or try something new.
For $1000, they could've had a 4K HDR screen.
The XZ Premium costs $750 and that thing has it, and it'll easily drop prices after a few months (after the release of the main flagship Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact), making it a way better deal.
Heck, even the Z5 Premium of 2015 has 4K screen. Whether you like it or not, 4K will be a norm for smartphones in the next few years. Prove me wrong when Samsung won't ride into the 4K game within 5 years of making smartphones.
this is just fan concept floating around for more than a week ago and the pricing are just predictions.
When entry to low end are getting cheaper, the flagships are sky rocketing the prices meanwhile mid rangers are getting more capable and capable I better go with mid range though 700$ is my my limit to spend for a phone but I never used my phone more than 1,5 years so it doesn't matter to take a mid range
Anonymous, 15 Aug 2017over 1000$ are they crazy lol ? only samsung can go away with those prices.. no way this phone... morei`m not sure why you put it in so competitive battle with other companies.. there are not soo many company out there and cliens everywhere.. so there are clients for all phones posible.! dont worry even the 50 dolars phones have clients imagine there are more company cars then company phones and still they have clients for all cars ! same happen with phones too as long as there are many people who dont whant to have what everyone have.? they have a big potential on selling the phone at high prace! in special if will look as in pictures
Anonymous, 15 Aug 2017over 1000$ are they crazy lol ? only samsung can go away with those prices.. no way this phone... moreIt just might get away with that price considering it has features/specs to offer that the Note 8 doesn't have: the rumored bigger 4000mAh+ battery, Dual Leica branded cameras, possibly an IR blaster (like in the previous Mate 9) and flat screen with no curved edges.
Wow, they keep releasing cheaper cheaper smartphones and now what? Sudden Death? The "awakening" of HUAWEI or something? Because that price of a smartphone is unacceptable. 700USD is still ok rather than this price
even samsung cant get away with high prices any more its a competitive market out there.
So,Mi Mix opened the door..1000$-rediculous.Eventhough,it's a thing of beauty
Pricing it 1000$ makes it directly compete with the Galaxy Note 8. A battle which the Mate 10 will lose.
Well, from the image that we see, obviously it is very nice. But, independently from if it is the real deal or not, the Mate 10 will definitely be really promising. With its near bezel-less display, the Kirin 970 SoC, and all the other good stuff. "Almost" certainly, it will be a honourable competitor to the Note 8, V30 and all the others. Looking forward.
over 1000$ are they crazy lol ? only samsung can go away with those prices.. no way this phone can match the quality and features of the note 8.... lol
In renders i see dedicated camera button. That is very nice, but also very unusual for Huawei. The last company with such key is Sony. Hope Nokia implement it in their flagship devices, as was years ago...
But device looks very nice for my taste. Hope they do not roundede display as Samsung and came with pure square shape screen. I do not mind bezels.
