The Note 5 has an amazing processor of its time, but let down by its underwhelming GPU, which determines the level of smoothness of your device.
And by means of no lag, I suspect that you can run 20 apps without closing one of them and the phone will remain smooth.

The XZ premium runs at 1080 basically the entire time, except for supported apps and supported media content. Not to the mention the fairly better sAMOLED screen on the S8 duo that supports HDR as well. I agree that the XZ Premium is a great phone and worthy of the word "flagship", as well as the U11, but you're clearly salty about the S8 for whatever reason. It has great build quality considering it's a glass sandwich, superior camera experience, top-notch display and basically feature-rich UI that can be friendly as well as laggy sometimes.
I'm sure you'll probably ignore what I cited here and keep promoting Sony and being a typical keyboard warrior, so have a nice day.

And I had an S6 and S7, and they were fast too. Are you basing your comment on using an S8 or just forums?

And if you say 2017 instead of 2014, you also mean that 2014 Samsung devices have mediocre performance, given that many SD801-powered devices didn't suffer from performance problems at all.
You don't have the right to call someone as 'ignorant' when your statement isn't factually true at all, not even without doing your background research.
But before you call me a Samsung hater, I have tried myself an S8 and S8+ and both of them were good phones, just that I won't ever trust them when I'll do hardcore tasks.

no way the p10 has the best camera. guess the leica branding helps win awards . google pixel has the best overall camera in my opinion. sony sensors are underrated.

If the S8 wasn't awarded to have the best camera on a smartphone, then they could've picked either the XZs or XZ Premium, or maybe both - I have tried both of them and there's no possible thing that the P10 beats the XZs in camera quality, let alone the XZ Premium.
For screen, I see them praise 2K so much that it looks gorgeous, but didn't give credit to the 4K HDR screen, or even the 4K from 2015, just because not so many contents are available for it - neither is 2K anyways, and they are far more rare than 4K contents, so what's the point?
The XZ Premium or U 11 deserves to be the best smartphone, because looking at both of them, I can't find anything that is a flaw for both, while I could name several or even hundreds for the S8, but people will commend me as a hater instead.
