i know the design is subjective and some people will rave about bezels, BUT come on, WHY do Sony always put such MASSIVE top and bottom bezels? their XZ premium is a HUGE phone simply because of its top and bottom which spoils it from being one of the phones of the year, the design is striking and classy yet its clunky size makes it a monstrosity next to other flagships with the same size screens, bezels dont have to be removed they just need to be shrunk to acceptable levels, i might have bought an XZP over the S8 plus if it wasnt such a giant phone

I really like this design... it's a unique. Without these bezels there would be no stereo speakers and 13 MP camera. For me it is important that the smartphone has a stereo speakers and nice front camera

Why would one buy this phone instead of Xperia XZ which is 2 times cheaper and has the same design? XZ also has a great deep blue color which wasn't available in XZs and most likely won't be available in XZ1

This is small screened XZ PREMIUM.. Dear sony, dont cut the screen size, instead, cut the bezels.. Poor sony !

and sony used 3000mah battery sin... moreevery phone has unique advantages and features, not every one likes minimal bezels, yes, there is indication that the market is turning to less and less bezels, but so has the elimination of 3.5mm headphone as well, but not all manufacturer follow this.
on the other hand, there are unique advantages will sony phones which are simply not found with other phones such, ps4 remote play, native ( and inexpensive, yet industry leading) game controller, ldac (3 x bluetooth bitrate) wireless audio, digital noise cancellation for music, games and video, 960fps slow motion camera. qnovo and battery care

Sony always lags behind the competition by at least one year. This should've been the XZ and released in 2016. No one is going to buy a phone with big bezels anymore. 2017 is the year of bezelless smartphones.
