More than the 64 GB ROM offered will be needed for high storage applications, as well as security and software updates that will eventually arrive in the future.

Offering supposedly future proof 18.5 : 9 aspect ratio with not so future proof 64 GB ROM is a bit of a cost cutting joke. Micro SD cards are only good for storing your selfies, while they are not corrupt that is. And they could cost you more than the damn phone itself.

As a Note 5 owner and a Note fan!!!!!, Samsung, we see through your plan, it's pricy because you have to make up for the colossal loss of the Note7.
That's...unfair...stupid...greedy...counterintuitive.

There is no reason why this phone should cost so much. A price like this and it comes with a rear fingerprint sensor?? Really???
No thanks, will stick to my perfectly performing Note 5 with front fingerprint sensor [ where unlocking the phone and online banking is a breeze!!!!]
I will wait for the > $2500 Note 9 then, with embedded front finger print sensor :-(

Anonymous, 16 Aug 2017Antutu is joke. Real life experience is different thing. It just for roughly reference. Yes a 150k mark phone could perform better than a 170k mark. However I doubt that 5k mark phone can perform better than 160k mark phone in real life experience.

Just hoping battery life would be better than the predecessors. Rest of the features are common these days.
