Redmi Note 5A to be made official next week, Xiaomi confirms Comments

weird anouncing note 5 A before note 5 itself .... still i have high hopes for note 5 since the competition is tougher this year with lenovo k8 note going with high upgrade from helio p10 to x23 and dual cameras .

Redmi Note 5A is for the new markets Xiaomi is entering / planning to enter. Till now Redmi series are of 5 inches and Redmi Note series are of 5.5 inches.. So basically this is for a market which wants a phone between the Redmi & Redmi Note series, which is having a big screen and price close to Redmi phone. Xiaomi wont downgrade the Note series as its their breadwinner in a lot markets..

with this, ignorant Xiaomi haters will appreciate Xiaomi's decision to equip the Redmi Note 4 with Helio X20, as it is actually better than SD650 (CPU-wise), and has a capable Mali T880MP4 which is on par with Adreno 510.
That being said, people won't buy cheap but weak phones from Xiaomi.
Instead, they will buy last year Redmi 4 Prime, not even Redmi Note 4 as it is basically a "large" version of the 4 prime, or just hold on a bit more until Redmi Note 5 with SD660 released (buying SD630 version will be a waste of money, as it is basically SD625 with little upgrades).
So, until now, the Redmi series that still worth to buy are:
Low-end : Redmi 4 prime
Low-mid : Redmi Note 3 pro / Redmi Note 4 Helio X20
High-mid : Redmi pro
other Redmi that that, it's just a waste of money, as the hardware, especially the SoC, are basically the same, even inferior than those four Redmis I listed above.

Lots of you are saying 'Oh no, Xiaomi going down hill', 'what's wrong with you xiaomi' etc .
Of course they're going to dumb down their hardware as they're bleeding their money somewhere else, offline stuffs. They borrowed $1B, if they don't start saving now, how would they pay it back in long term?

this phone is worthless because there is the 4A for low end and now this, if this come to market Redmi 4 and Note 4 need to rise prices to make this a new entry level at low price and i dont see this phone less than 110€, but with more 20/30 you can have Redmi Note 4 so...
Xiaomi have trying to be sammy at this point but people who love Xiaomi dont want this, want better specs for lower price and not old tech with the same prices!
XIaomi, open your eyes because you are overfloating the market with "the same" things bbut only change names this is more like a Redmi 3/3S with bigger screen!
