What a boring Asus 2017 phone lineup. All six phones looking almost the same with full HD screens, the same 5.5" screen sizes and the same basic Samsung inspired phone shape/design. Asus should just stop producing phones. These generic specs and designs have nothing special, unique or new to offer to the market that is not already offered by many other competing brands.

Fayth, 18 Aug 2017i'll go with the basic Zenfone 4 for not having that antenna linesAgreed, and the SD660 variant should be more than enough for daily use.

Way too many phone models mean OS updates will be very few and far in between, this company does not have the resources to make it happen. Your phone's OS will stay stale for much longer than you prefer. No thanks Asus.

The nasty Samsung Style Home Button.
Can't they get such more original design?
Seems like Sony's the only left OEM with their own original design.
I'd even complain about this more than the bezels, which I'm happy that they have kept.

Anonymous, 17 Aug 2017Get Lenovo P2. Zenfone Max is budget device with budget SoC and these now are only 28nm.I want usb-c, so if a lenovo P3 comes along then thats probably my new phone, hopefully they launch one at IFA. I have Lumia 950 now and the 1 single app I cant live without have announced they are closing the app in a few month, so I am running short on time

Thank you for posting about the new ASUS phones! I am so excited! I'm not planning to buy a new phone yet, as I'm still using my ZenFone 2 and loving it, but now I know what I might be getting next. I was thinking ZenFone 3 until I stumbled upon this article. For those that are doubting their credibility as a phone maker, I would recommend trying it. It's a great value too, for all the top-notch tech you get for a much lower price than the most popular top phones.
