Project treble is the thing android should have done first.
A proper separation and abstraction of software from hardware.
I don't get why it took 10 years for a software company to come to a conclusion, which was obvious from beginning.

Currently even if company dedicated himself to updates, it still would be a headache to actually practice.

AceShot, 22 Aug 2017I want phones with 8.0 like next month, don't wanna wait half year!! Why so slow..Well, Google just updated the base, so now you have one month to improve MIUI for like, 20 phones - including all the testing and debugging and bricking phones. Good luck; you'll need it.
