Sonu4678, 23 Aug 2017Update :-
XZ premium
Sensor Size - 1/2.3"if anything this is obviously Sony's strength. since you mentioned it as well, the secondary camera is 1/3 and thats the front facing camera LOL. which is a big as iphones rear thats insane if you ask me.
the technology on the XZP is kind of ahead of anything else. Its just the software that needs further perfecting and trimming of the bezels.
AnonD-96745, 22 Aug 2017Agreed. Sony should put ois for next phone! Is it so hard? Software should be intelligence tho... moreSpace constraints, just pop open an xperia device with 1/2.3 camera sensor and you know what i mean, the tren of getting rid the bezel don't help either
Anonymous, 22 Aug 2017But the main problem is does that extra detail matter when everything is gonna be uploaded to ... moreSo, the same thing can be said when taking lowlight, the extra noise will be suppressed due to higher mp that been downscaled
....again with the 18:9 dang it.... so everyone is just copying each other on this? Do they care that lots of people don't like the size?
Sonu4678, 22 Aug 2017Except it doesn't.

You are just trolling right? Where the hell is that label. It just say the megapixels

Mobilemaster, 22 Aug 2017It is not everything about low-light. It is also important to capture stunning photos day-time... moreNever compare DSLR megapixels to a smartphones, DSLR is incomparable since it has bigger sensor (so as mirror, lens, and other stuff like difference in aperture etc.), that's why it is "literally" that big. It utilizes more pixels than a smartphone. But anyway, Latest Mate series and LG V series are on the top of the list "currently".
Huawei keeps getting better and better.
AnonD-521587, 22 Aug 2017yes but higher MP is better in daylight. So they are sacrificing daytime for low light. Not necessarily. Higher MP usually means smaller pixel size. Smaller pixel size is a disadvantage not only in low light, but in daylight too, because in daylight the shadows and dark areas will be noisy.
So a 12MP camera resolution for phones is perfect. It's the sweet spot.
Anonymous, 22 Aug 2017 oh still f2.2 aperture when other flagships like lg v30 are going with f 1.6 . pause the vi... moreSeen it -- f 2.2, they r using the mate 9 on this clip.
Mobilemaster, 22 Aug 2017So what if Samsung did that? They need to follow Samsung? NO! Huawei should do differently.Lets wait and see maybe the aperture size will be different than last year...... They never disappoints in camera department in their smartphones...
Mate 9 is super nice and with great screen.
it's a pity there are no offers for it (while P10 with small screen gets heavily discounted)
Mobilemaster, 22 Aug 2017It is not everything about low-light. It is also important to capture stunning photos day-time... moreHigher megapixel count -
You can take the best possible shot if the best lighting situation is available. But if the situation becomes worse, it'll heavily affect the photo.
Lower megapixel count -
Takes good pics in every situation.
P.S. It's all about preference, take your pick that suits your interest. I prefer the camera that can take good pics in every situation.

It is also important to capture stunning photos day-time. More MP, means more zoom to image right? There are DSLR cameras with 20MP+ sensors.
Mobilemaster, 22 Aug 2017You will see by next year the standard MP count will be higher than 12, 13 MP.I don't think so. The megapixel count will not rise unless there is a solution to the low light in that range.
And for people who mentioned manual controls should know that only few percentage of people use that feature. An average guy takes pictures in Auto mode only.
Sonu4678, 21 Aug 2017OEMs gave up on megapixel race for the good reason. Having more megapixel translates to smalle... moreYou will see by next year the standard MP count will be higher than 12, 13 MP.
AnonD-521587, 22 Aug 2017you can get good pictures with sonys camera because it has a bigger sensor.
if you use 1s ... moreExcept it doesn't.
