Xiaomi phone sells like hot cakes there because its affordable, same goes to Samsung's A and J series, where it doesnt sell well anywhere else :/

Too pricey, and battery still sucks. Why cant they make a phone with big battery? Who need s a phone that drops dead in less than a day.
I guess I'll stick with my Note 4 + Zerolemon 10000mah battery pack for another year

The grey importers here in Bangladesh offer really nice deals on Xiaomi phones. And they always fix the playstore and language issue before selling the Chinese ROM variants. Plus our network bands are nearly identical to that of China. So no problem there as well.

$940 is not bad. Most users will buy it after a few months anyway. It should drop close to $600 by early next year if not for holiday season. No need to be hipster that get the phone immediately to show off on the first day of launch. If you cant afford it, act like you cant afford it.

This is a joke of a price for what is essentially an s8 with a pen. Which in turn besides a gimmick curve edge display, is no different than most other competing flagships that could be had at half the price! Samsung and Apple as well btw, should be ashamed for setting these absurd prices to their customers.
