omg, 22 Aug 2017where the fusk is all the 660 snapdragon ??????aliens stole them????I don't know this is the exact reason, but the main known reason why Snapdragon 660 hasn't been installed into other phone for a while was because Oppo take all of the SD 660 chipset supplies for their Oppo R11 and R11+, so they don't have any supplies for other companies to use 660. So OEM's don't have much choice than using either 630, 625, 626 or 65x (0.2,3), although there's some rumors that A5 2018 and others will be using 660.
if you want to defeat Xiaomi, get a SD 660 at least. otherwise why buy your phone instead of Xiaomi's range?
at last people.. meizu will use sd soc.. i bet many people will buy the sd version.. the mtk version will left out..
Anonymous, 22 Aug 2017625 again? where the fusk is all the 660 snapdragon ??????aliens stole them????
I thought Meizu was going to try and slap the two into the same phone. There's a first time for everything, I guess?
this could be a great thing. I loved what Meizi pulled out of totally crappy chipset in M3 Note and M3 Note. If they optimize this well with Flyme, it could be a great phone with up to 10 hours of SOT. And if they keep m-touch fingerprint on the front, we have a winner.
It was about time we see some Meizus with Qualcomm chipsets. Having to only use MTK put them in an inferior position on the market. I hope this costs 200$.
maybe (maybe) this year Meizu have a Redmi Note 5 killer...
one thing i love with MEizu is the front fingerprint scanner but hope for less bezzels...better camera color reprodution and this phone is a perfect replace for all Mid range rom Xiaomi this year.
