No HTC phone has ever blown up. HTC phones do not automatically break when you drop them. The audio experience is better than anything on the market, as is the durability. The speed, user experience and lack of "bloatware" makes it by far the best phone on the market going back to the HTC ONE M7 release. Neither Samsung, nor Apple, nor Sony can make any of these claims. Cut it out "Fan Boys". Consumers want to buy products that work and last.

Rafe Firmani, 23 Aug 2017Does security update frequency is that essential to become deciding factor to purchase a phone... moreMicrosoft and Apple push 0-day patches for computer and phones (just talking about Apple here. Don't know about Windows phones), do you think it is important? The WannaCry Ransomware was a 0-day exploit because it came out the same day MS became aware of the exploit and rushed a patch.

Does security update frequency is that essential to become deciding factor to purchase a phone? Really?
          I'm seriously asking.

Unlike your S6 who has "trough the car windshield" white balance since the day one and forever ;)

U11 would be my last phone. Releasing August update in the end and will roll out for 2 months meaning Oct will have aug. security patch. This is pathetic strategy, Pixel is the way to go. At least samsung and sony are good in pushing updates

And for the record: unlocked HTC 10 UK model is stuck on January security update. And it is end of August now. This is something to consider when you plan on buying a new phone. You will get updates with your U11 during the first year but after then - ....

My note 4 has had 1080p 60fps recording since 2014. Come on HTC.
