I tried it twice using pc companion and although it gives a nessage that the upadate was successfully performed, when I checked the phone it still reads 2.3.2. Any advise

just updated my arc, Facebook is everywhere! The gallery feels a little quicker, the touch is more stable, sometimes if you scrolled then hold your finger in place it kind of stuttered, not now.
also word predictions are appearing on the text box in a light grey. I'll do my play in the morning.
for the light sensor, just take it somewhere bright then hold your hand over it.

No problem actually. The shutter button is a bit to the side but again no problem with that, you get used to it in few days as I did.
As for poor ergonomics or poor placement of the lock button what are you complaining about? No problem with it, whatsoever. The audio jack would be better on top but my w980 as it on the side as well and that was never a problem fro me
