Let's be real, no one is gonna buy a Nokia in these days. They'd rather buy older iPhones that are slightly cheaper and much better.
As soon as this hits the streeta I'm selling my S7 and buying the Nokia 8. Definitely my kind of phone.

The Essential phone has terrible cameras and shatter prone ceramic back.
Mi6 has terriblr Chinese software.
OP5 has its screen upside down and bad cameras.
G6 and S8 have terrible aspect ratios. The former has mediocre cameras while the latter has terrible fingerprint placement.
S7 Edgr has the beyond uselesa and annoying edgr screens.
its a good phone, waiting for the release date
For people who always have something to grumble about Nokia. Well no one is forcing you to buy! If you like get it or get lost. Simple! Because people who loves the Nokia brand will always stick to it. Peace!🙏

What is this propaganda, glowing review of the Nokia 8 and this some kind of celebration that Nokia is back? They are far from it.
Andy Rubin's Essential phone is a more exciting release than the 8. For the money, the 8 doesn't hold a candle to Mi6, OP5, S7 Edge, G6, S8. It will be interesting if the price drops to between the Mi6 and the OP5.
AnonD-70078, 27 Aug 2017Love the polished blue . It definitely a mob for the modern dressed man. Excuse me, wrong reply
AnonD-687982, 27 Aug 2017Polished blue is looking hot...soon Samsung will copy this coloryou can't ''copy'' a color! Everyone can put any color on any device without being told that it's copying another company. Blue is blue. Dark blue is dark blue. Pink is pink. You can copy the stupid names like ''Space Grey'' and stuff, but not the color. It's like saying in 2017: Hey this device has a CPU, this is a copy of the Nokia 8.

Nokia isn't back.
The Nokia of yesteryears was producing phones with many different shapes, form-factors, exchangeable covers, and their own Operating System (Symbian/Maemo) with their own OVI services.
This isn't to knock-off the Nokia 8, I think its a good contender to the OnePlus 5, Blackberry Android's, and Motorola. It reminds me of current HTC devices to be frank.
But it doesn't compete with the flagships such as the Galaxy S, iPhone, and LG's.
Anonymous, 27 Aug 2017Important thing is it does not explode or sc@ms it's users. Many branches of various governments scam users (spyware, ect.), not OEMs.
AnonD-687982, 27 Aug 2017Polished blue is looking hot...soon Samsung will copy this colorLol. Yeah apple invented gold and rose gold colors, nokia invented blue color...
Price to performance ratio is better then Galaxy s8 and pixel xl
Love the polished blue . It definitely a mob for the modern dressed man.
The Nokia 8 is a promising device, the bezels are ok and doesn't mind having it on my device but like the rest, I'd love to see a Nokia device that could face against the Galaxy S8/Note8, the LG G6 or the upcoming iPhone 8 with little to no bezels display.
The camera on the Nokia 8 also proves that even at a younger stage, the new generation Nokia can go head to head with the new leaders in the market and would love to see a tech similar to Nokia's PureView achievements or something similar with future Nokia devices.
What turns me down on the Nokia 8 though is the smaller display. I'm waiting for the rumored Nokia 9 to see if that would fit my taste and would love to see it before the year ends.
Would have liked to see AMOLED display for true night screen and a return of many Symbian-isms. Right now Nokia has done nothing to differentiate themselves. The only difference between new Nokia and where Blackberry was a year ago is marketing.
Important thing is it does not explode or sc@ms it's users.
