Imx258 is made for midranges.
Even Sony's midranges have moved on it.
It would be great for front cam, not rear. No matter how good software can be, tiny sensor wont help.
Imx 286, imx234, imx315, imx386 would be better choices....

Nokia is dead, it is HMD and their don't have capacity yet to fight with big dogs as it shows in Nokia 8 camera comparison. Nothing special. Pixel or S8, Note 8 has best cameras on a smartphone, period, feature things can change, but for now HMD has nothing special to offer

The P10 has a great camera setup, but you wouldn't get the best from it on auto mode; as for the Nokia 8 the camera was a huge disappointment because of the small sensor and small pixels, and I say huge disappointment because with the huge bezels and no IP67 or 68 certification I expected the camera to be it's killer feature.
