I want to uninstall it... moreSame for me. i am disapointed. my phone is slow now and lag sometime plus the battery life suck now. look like this update was made to push us to buy new phones...by lowering the quality we can get from our phones who work way better before this update. i would love to go back to normal life.

lellyp1954, 18 Apr 2018will i get the nougat update? i have the galaxy s5 neoI downloaded Samsung Smart Switch and upgraded my firmware through USB cable hooked into my desktop...I have gs5 neo sm-g903w and I use it in the USA on T-Mobile towers. So, I dont think I would have ever recieved an OTA update since I dont live in Canada, and I use a USA provider for my service...hope this helped someone..

I did the update 2 weeks ago now my phone gets so hot that I'm afraid it's going to burn me after 5 min of use. Is there an issue with the update as I never had a problem before.

I got a samsung galaxy neo 5 afer they Updated i am Having trouble getting on wifi. Battery drains quickly. Can't get past 98% and after that it lights up and dosnt go off till you unplug it.😏

Everything about the update is great so far. No problems and is faster than previous update, except for battery problem. Battery drains faster than before and most of the time it doesn't go more than 98%. The battery is fully charged but it only shows as 98% for some reason. Aside from the battery problem this is the best update so far for this phone in my opinion. You have the new S8 software and plus it is way way faster and smoother. Even the camera is now better in this update. If you have problems with lagging or other problems then uninstall it and clean install the update. I clean installed the update on my device and it only has the battery problem. You will need a custom recovery to uninstall it like TWRP. Delete everything with the recovery and use ODIN and flash the right file for your device in download mode.

I'm not a tech guy by any stretch, but my phone's really been slow loading apps or just doing stuff since the update. Didn't like the phone set up either without a separate page for phone favourites. Had I known, I would not have updated. It feels like Samsung pulled an Apple move by making a decent phone unpleasant to use and wonky.

just did update. messed up my phone, changed everything . now I cannot connect to certain wifi locations like I use to be able to . wont prompt for user name and password. not liking this update

Anyone having battery life issues after installing this new update? My battery drains extremely fast now. I checked settings, but they all appear to be the same as before.
