Sonu4678, 29 Aug 2017It's DisplayMate's responsibility to test every kind of displays before labeling "the best". T... moreThey said it's the best they tested. Sure it would be great if they went to a nearby shop and borrowed every phone to test it but that's not how it works. Sites like DisplayMate or this one have to get a review unit. I'm writing music reviews and get free CDs and mp3 and it's not even a well known website.

hopefully this pushes JDI to do even better. They've been so lackluster lately. the 4k hdr is impressive for being worlds first but when the peak brightness and color gamut is so much better it kind of nullifies the higher resolution.

Hollywood and Technicolor calls those Sony BVM OLED monitors the reference standard.

They just tested Apple & Samsung's displays but what about other OEMs displays. No doubt that Samsung has best display but it would have been more credible and complete claim if they had tested variety of displays.

Not surprising. Samsung innovates, while everyone else imitates.

Other OEM's displays, including Sony's 4K Xperia display, can't match up.

DisplayMate should also review other OEM's displays too if they want to label "the best".
