Lol. Try to get 11M of iphone 7s & 7s plus sales first before even thinking of iphone 8 buddy. Dont even think of trashing Note8. Apple strategy is failing real good. Oh, i need to add that your iphone 8 will be limited to only 3-4 million unit only, this year. It will never surpassed Note8 sales with limited supplies of OLED from Samsung. Hahaha.

Apple is no longer innovating things. Everything that the'll announce, companies did it better, but Apple fans are very limited that they'll assume that "everything is new". People bought Apple products is not because of the specs or innovations, or even features. They bought it for the brand and iOS. Nothing else.

Because android ecosystem have many many big brands making superb flagships. Its so difficult to do better. Android=diversity and ios=iphone. If you want real comparison compare this year iphone 8 iphone 7s sales vs android flagships: s8 s8 plus xz premium mi6 lg v6 v30 htc u11 oneplus 5 moto z2 and latest huawei.

Apple is very well known to provide a few features at a time. Can u tell me tons of innovative features in iPhone 7 which are not in 6s? As far as iPhone 8 is concerned i only got to hear two certain features... OLED screen and iris scanner which aren't new to the market...

Really !! i think powerusers wait for actual battery performance reviews, Coz samsung already given official battery comparision sheet with S8+ and results are not good. So may be small battery problem might create some problems in selling figures.

Samsung phones are just as restrictive as iPhone and even worse
in terms of warranty / customer service and resale value

I will never go back to iphones while ever their apps and OS are so restrictive. The fact that iPhone still doesn't have a file explorer and USB OTG kills it for most power users.
I think the GN8 will outsell the GN5 because the GN5 lacked the SD card.
I don't think the GN8 sales will be awesome though because it really only offers S pen and dual camera over the S8+. I will be waiting for the GN9 to upgrade my S8+... hopefully it has a better battery and moves away from the current tall screen ratio and all glass design.

You must be confusing the... moreIf the sales of all combined low end, mid range and high end phones are taken into consideration then Samsung is number 1 brand but if u'll take only premium phone market share then Samsung is no where near to Apple in terms of market share.
