[deleted post]Im so sorry, but new Nokia flagship is just no good, doesnt stand out in any way from any generic chinese manufacturer flagship, especially notn in camera department...
Else than Nokia monicker on that phone, there is absolutely nothing sticky about it...
[deleted post]32 million dollars profits in between April and June.
Are you sure this is death?
It's FHD maybe because prioritize it's battery life?
Like the Mate 9?
Sony Fanboy Bitches, 30 Aug 2017They use two sensors separately and apply different processing steps.
Front camera applies ... moremine does not have controls like X phones.
for low light I use SCN ... Night Scene, results are far better than auto mode whice usually shows LOW LIGHT SCENE instead of NIGHT SCENE then ISO goes 500 or more...
Just like cameras...
Auto mode of many phones will never use higher ISO, that is why it looks better than Sony.
SCN NIGHT SCENE gives me 1s SS + ISO 50 , shots come out way better..
sa11oum, 30 Aug 201721:9 on a phone? What is 21:9 anyway, sounds like 7:3 to me, that doesn't exist... 16:9 is the... moreMovies and many youtube videos are 21:9.
A screen 14 cm x 6 cm is 21:9.
You find monitors 21:9 for sale. Used for gamers...

Not everyone will agree with me, or if even one will be, but my personal favorite design of any smartphone today is the Nexus 6.
That thing's just gorgeous, which also finds an excellent balance between beauty and functionality.
Thin bezels and still has the stereo speakers.
Just make a sub-5" version of it with:
-XZ Premium's rear camera hardware (with 16mp maximum resolution instead)
-XZ Premium's front camera
-Pixel's camera HDR+ processing algorithm
-Galaxy Note 8's software (without unnecessary duplicate bloats and gimmicky features)
-LG's camera app
-Huawei's IR Blaster
-Motorola's stereo speaker (same exact one as on the Nexus 6 itself but with some notable improvements)
-Note 8/V30's OLED screen but 16:9 and same STB Ratio as the Nexus 6
-OnePlus 5's Dash Charging
-XZ Premium's Battery Optimization and Technology (STAMINA Mode, Qnovo Battery Technology)
-XZ Premium's audio features (LDAC, Hi-Res audio, ClearAudio+, etc.)
-V30's internal audio hardware
-Note 8's battery life
All of these and I'll die for getting one.
sa11oum, 30 Aug 201721:9 on a phone? What is 21:9 anyway, sounds like 7:3 to me, that doesn't exist... 16:9 is the... moreAll I want is a G6 with OLED 16:9 screen with the same exact design and resolution.
Maybe even 4K would be preferable.
That and with a larger 1/2.55" 13mp sensor @f1.6 lens + 1/3.06" 13mp wide angle sensor @f2.2 lens, 8mp AF 1/3.06" sensor with 4K video recording capabilities, SD835, 3500mAh battery, alternative stereo speaker setup (earpiece as tweeter and bottom speaker as subwoofer) and I'm pretty much sold, even if it will cost $800.
Anonymous, 30 Aug 2017Just always keep ISO below 100...
If the software was the issue, front cam would not be that ... moreThey use two sensors separately and apply different processing steps.
Front camera applies Beauty Filters, which, sadly isn't disable-able - you need Manual Mode to lessen ita but not fully get rid of.
The main shooter itself is just lacking some proper image stabilizer and large optics.
F2.0 is going to get outdated already, so at least f1.8 wouldn't hurt at all.
I also would like to see them experiment with dual cameras, and I prefer Huawei & Nokia's way of doing it - RGB+Monochrome sensors working in tandem rather than those unnecessary zoom lens (which is still very limited and can't be adjusted in focal length) or wide angle lens (where you can just buy a wide angle lens for your device and get the same result but with way higher quality).
LG superfan, 30 Aug 2017Isnt hdr+ limited to pixels or you are using a pixelIdk either, but it is portable to other devices with SD820 and beyond.
I got the Google Pixel camera app, which, sadly is not compatible on my SD410 device, but others said SD435 does support this apk.
Anonymous, 30 Aug 2017Please, no gimmick useless 18:9 screen. I'd rather have 21:9.. 21:9 on a phone? What is 21:9 anyway, sounds like 7:3 to me, that doesn't exist... 16:9 is the only way to go, Samsung and LG can F themselves
AnonD-552179, 30 Aug 2017128gb of storage but with only 4gb of ram in 2017??? are you kidding me????Yes, it has only 4GB in 2017.
Just like any other major brand 2017 flaship, released in europa and usa.
Two different sizes for the display...
The first foldable device?
Anonymous, 30 Aug 2017Agree, better ticker but small bezel (motorola X the best flagship on hand grip).
About time ... moreZ Ultra 6.4" SD800 had 3000mAh.
No way this one brings more than 3000....
XA1U has 2700.
Anonymous, 30 Aug 2017Full hd hahahttps://www.inchcalculator.com/tv-size-viewing-distance-calculator/
I seriously don't know why people think anything past full hd for a smartphone creates any benefit. Just check out this viewing distance calculator and notice with a 6 inch full hd screen, the viewing distance is 0.7-1.2 feet. 4k, is 0.6-0.9... I don't even hold my qhd 5.2 inch g5 that close to my face.
Seriously, no benefit. The pixel race for phones is ridiculous. All it does is tax processors and eat up battery.
