It's licensed tech people get it. Now LG have it in the V30, should they also be credited with innovation here?

Nothing serious. No need to find a replacement for an issue which is non existent. Go see for yourself.

2700 mAh battery seems right for the compact, but I wouldn't wanna buy a 5-incher or more with just 2700 mAh battery when the Xperia XZ and XZs both has 2900 mAh battery and that is also kinda low by today's standard.

I like their design. I like their software. But honestly, they have to improve the spec to compete in the market. At least give more flagship-worthy specification like other brand. Because people believe in spec, not "humble" inovation like Qnovo for example.

so they implement this bugfix to xz1. but they will never ever implement it to xzp.
i feel sorry for xzp owners, i hope you guys will find better replacement for your phones.
