I asked in Carphone Warehouse today and the branch manager said the first week of November and launch price of £799 for the handset.

This price will stay high a guite long time. It will come down when next generation comes out, but so will other phones in this generation.

Thanks but no thanks. I can get a dedicated ILC (system camera) with some lenses and a simpler phone, or a capable smartphone (like V20 for $350) and a camera, or a phone and a decent laptop. Too expensive. I guess most people are OK with it as long as carriers subsidize it heavily, but in my country I have to pay the full price + local trader margin (typically 30% or more). So no thanks to $1300 LG phone.

I dont use anymore mobile phones last one lg shit k10 goed under water and the voice call prices raized and all this spying i haw now dificulties to find job whitout phone this is lg low quality foult.

Nice phone but not worth that kind of money. People are putting off upgrading these days due to the high price but getting very little extra than what your exsisting phone already does. Good luck selling that im sure the tech heads will buy it along with the iv got more money than sense crew.

Well, it's exactly the same with a new car..nobody forces U to pay full price..wait for a few weeks, months or years and get it for a fraction of the price..it's not stupid the one who asks for the price is the one who pays the price...

I suppose the V30 worths 900 euros. It comes with expensive B&O PLAY headphones and it has a high quality military graded build which covers the price. You can't compare it to an overpriced slightly updated S8+ with stylus. But as always with LG phones: after a couple of months it will be a lot cheaper.

Does LG phone worth 900€? Definitely no. All second class oems are cheaper. LG is on level of ones too. You got one of the worst support on matket, ruined reputation, permanent quality issues. For such price it's too impertinently.

It is much more compact, looks much bette... moreNote 8 looks much better and it has better features ; plus it has 6.3 inch screen. v30 is just a note series copycat. I would never buy an lg for this money because after 1 or 2 years nobody would give u any money for it.

The price difference in comparison to the Note 8 is too small. People who buys phones in that price range would rather opt for a Note 8 rather than a V30.
This will be a starting disaster for LG, they might recoup some losses when they lower the price like they did with the G6.
Welp, gonna wait for the Mi Mix 2 announcement!
