ssbatman21, 01 Sep 20171.0 µm pixel size on v30 bro.... Not gonna beat s8.... let alone note 8.... "let alone note8" ? :) n8 and s8 have same cameras (telephoto camera doesn't help with the quality)
What I hate the most with Samsung's (and many other) cameras is 4:3 ratio! Where on earth can you find 4:3 display!? the phone is now even longer than 16:9, so the photo looks ridiculous on it... and if you crop it to 16:9 you have a 8mp photo. In every new sensor I hope to see a proper ratio (like Samsung used to have)

They all are using a sony mobile phone sensor in the cameras. Carl Zeiss just supplies the lenses for the nokia 8.

G6 with its chinese mid range sensor is still far better than carl zeiss camera on nokia8 so all that hype didnt materialized and LG haters still stuck at 2 years old bootloop thing cant wait for V30 review it has smaller pixels but 16mp camera so it should balance out and perform similar to G6 if not better and cant wait for V30 vs Note8

AnonD-632062, 01 Sep 2017G6 and the S8 are arguably the best. The Note8 vs V30 camera test is going to be enticing.Yeah, mainly second cam, V30s superwide vs. tele on note8, got to walk a lot to take the same frame.
Well, most of phones here got lazy processing or color quality, with S8 leading, aperture/sensor size/great processing... almost overkill in this comparison.
With XZP it would be more interesting.

                      Dear GSM team!

İn low light comparison why Huawei P10 is not included?
I use Huawei p9 which is the best in low light photography.
This is somewhat you are not after really.

The smaller pixels will hurt the low light performance (then again, f/1.6 aperture, so probably not so much) but it'll slay the S8 and Note 8 during the day because at the end of the day it's a 16mp sensor and Samsung has 12mp. And LG has very good software optimization when it comes to cameras. You can clearly see it in the daylight samples of this comparison. The G6 uses a sensor which is 2 years old and it still produces more detail than the s8 which has a much newer sensor and much bigger pixels.
