Well, this is very exciting. If they are announcing a whole new series, but not announcing it first back home in China, that leads me to believe it is part of their rumored Google partnership, since Google doesn't do business in China.
Stock Android Xiaomi at a fair price, that would be great.

Stock is android for me is not better. Its a result of laziness of developers to add more features and optimize the phone.

Anonymous, 01 Sep 2017Isn't it what Google did with Nokia?Not yet, but wouldn't be too surprised if Nokia was a another manufacturer of an upcoming Nexus-alike line. Their current models show good signals, but (despite being mostly stock) the OS support isn't done by Google themselves -- that is the key difference.

Don't mistake better value elsewhere (chinese manufactures coming-in strong with better specs at that price-point) with a dislike for Motorola's stock Android. India is the place where all emerging manufacturers are trying their products, no wonder traditional manufacturers are not selling that well (in the budget segments).
