oh my gosh wat i creation of gadget by asus it make my happy that asus think some thing better than other company :D hope very soon asus rocks :D
If asus diverts some of their 'pretty models' budget to getting quality components for their phones. I might consider it... As they are I know for a fact that asus only stocks lcd screens with dead pixels. And has probably the worst update record of all android manufacturers.
ah same old boring os with bug everywhere no inovation at all Zz..Zz
Excellents ! Its amazing how ASUS brought the 2 seperate devices into one and this is a doorway to future.
But I hope it will actually work the way its hsown in the advertisement.
Its a defining moment for ASUS :- like Apple brought in iPAD.
Go ASUS GO....
I'll just get 2 devices that will work simultaneously and connect them using some form of wireless connection...
Decent idea though... decent.
so its ey-sus now? when i worked in the asus call center, they told us it's ah-sus...
i really want one of these bet it will be over priced to start with but then again its not made by apple so maybe not lol

Not only would you have 2 additional pieces of hardware but those pieces wouldn't function without you inserting your cell phone first - this is why I think this entire concept is going to fail!
For the same amount of money, you can buy yourself a sweat netbook with touch screen. That netbook would work even without your phone and you still could tether it via USB cable or BT.
Just my 2 cents ... !
AnonD-5197, 30 May 2011Sense is the reason Android haters say Androids drain battery too fast. It's also the reason that makes me stick with HTC.
And I believe It's not Sense that makes Android drain battery more, it's HTC Screen's. Samsung has more battery efficient screens and that makes them much better in terms of battery.
the thing that is also needed is a device that can dock the pad (in which the smartphone is docked) and turn it to a netbook with a keyboard.
so totally there would be 3 modes to use:
2. pad - in which the smartphone is docked
3. netbook - in which the pad (with the docked smartphone) is docked.
this three stage solution is the ultimate one!
SGM, 30 May 2011You know you can install custom launchers in Android, right? What do you think I am, a noob? Sure you can install custom launchers, but none of them is as good as HTC Sense. And BTW, HTC Sense is not only a launcher, it offer much more cool awesome feature than just being a launcher.
Now that's what I call it innovation..
great job asus.. only wish it will have a great price not a GREAT price :D
AnonD-1061, 30 May 2011Nice idea, I like it. Too bad it doesn't have HTC Sense. You know you can install custom launchers in Android, right?
For the second video and question is it Internet Explorer.. It's not IE... It's Firefox...
asus is on fire lately, lets see if they can deliver a good quality product and get into the market like htc did
