AnonD-670091, 01 Sep 2017Kirin 960 had a relatively weak GPU compared to adreno 530 and 540. Adreno is way better GPU ... moreThe gpu was not that bad actually. And it's also just a slightly lesser set up. Not that the gpu itself is weak. Or that adreno is better. And we all know how much adreno has been based off short boosts for so many years

I know all the 4 great coming phones are going to sell at above $900 LG V30, GALAXY MATE , IPHONE 8 so I believe this one would sell around that price too. The one that will start making promotions early will have great large market for their own. Best four flagship real premium phones. I have to use one of these as my main phone so I wait till they all come out. I have saved for one but will get it around Christmas time as a Christmas presense.

Who told you that? Huawei hi silicon kirin is already out performing the snapdragon in performance. They are smooth like okro. Even in some areas the year old kirin 960 out performs the snapdragon 835. This is a proven test done by many reviewers. I love Huawei phones.

AnonD-670091, 01 Sep 2017I give little value to reviewers, they dont test gaming throughly enough, what I can tell you ... moreI guess you don't know what kirin 960 process is and what it can do! Do some research my friend. I guess you are still at kirin 920s, Huawei moved from this processors long time ago!

Wow, this sends a serious message to samsung, apple etc like, count with me, it won't be easy! "Hawaii" is getting better and better, smartphones are really well built, their EMUI is really fast and smooth with regular updates, cameras are very good also and they're cheaper then Samsungs and Apples...

Wow, Huawei is a dangerous phone company to contend with. This is too serious to be true. I am eagerly waiting to see if this is really true in real life usage, Eii, now between LG V30, Galaxy note 8 and Huawei Mate 10 one can't pinpoint one as the best phone. All of them are introducing something new and special in it's own capacity. Hahahaaaa!!! The competition is so tight.

Huawei phones c... moreI give little value to reviewers, they dont test gaming throughly enough, what I can tell you however is many user that I do know or on the net on different sites, complains about ingame performance of Huawei's Flagships/midrange phones, prone to overheating and heavy lagging, which often trailed back to lackluster GPU, which strong on the PAPER ONLY in practice works like a midrange Adreno GPU. Also even worse most game optimised around Snap/Adreno combo.

Once again if you are heavy gamer, choosing Huawei is disservice to yourself, otherwise Huawei really good if you dont care about gaming much.

How the GPU is optimized is more important.
Huawei phones can game better in many circumstances then phones with SD835 . Huawei phones with Kirin 960 were smooth as silk in gaming . You should check reviews . Not a single tech reviewer complained about gaming performance.

Adreno is way better GPU when it comes to gaming.
I hope this time Kirin 970's GPU can outdone 2016 flagships like the G5 and htc10....

PS:
Huawei is good budget option but not if you wanna do heavy gaming on phone.
