That's just a though you made up in your head and then went full force with it as if whatever you think and assume is immediate reality.

And the iphone since the 6 was indeed borrowing the note design.

By your logic, the iPhone Plus series would be a copycat to the Note series. Every phone considered a phablet would be copycats to it like the Huawei Mate series, Mi Mi, and Pixel XL. Your logic is flawed.

You just stated it. And the only two things it have over others are Quad DAC....which has not been tested to actually be better. And wider camera. Which again is not actually a better quality camera.
And yes. THe Note 8 is factually overall.
What people subjectively prefer is up to them. But their subjective opinions do not change objective facts.

You have a point, however, you do need good products to build a brand. You can't build a brand out of nothing. Good products alone might not be enough to build a brand, but bad products definitely can destroy a brand quickly. To this day, people are still recalling about exploding Note 7 talking about brand damage.

Not that it matters, but the burn felt by owning a LG urbane 2 LTE with still to date no android wear 2.0, I just decided to disconnect service on that watch and probably going to either sell it or just stash it somewhere and write it off as an abandon hardware. This means I have to sidestep from LG. I feel that they don't stand behind their products and can't see myself continuing the V series having owned the V10, and loved it and currently using the V20 and its okay. I suppose I will return to Samsung, which isnt much better but will have the S-Pen I love.

JMTM, 02 Sep 2017It's a great price but.... Samsung is already dumping their note 8 in us 300 off trading in ... moreBut you do remember that LG always has themselves covered. Its obvious that Samsung saw LG as a threat right now. LG cannot outsell them but its obvious that V30 is great device and on the same level as Note 8 or even higher. LG knew that they have weak sales so they always offered at least 100$ worth freebies (back with G4) and with G6 they offered Google Home (130$) + SmartWatch (250$) and even LG 43 inch TV to some people (400$), and just with Google Home and SmartWatch you get nearly 400$ worth of freebies and phones price was 750$ (so literally paying 350$ for phone). Its obvious that LG will offer as i said at least 100$ with V30 but they probably saw what Samsung did (buy one get one Note8, DeX, VR freebies), so i am expecting them to step up the game and give out at least 200-300$ of freebies.
