Another social experiment by Apple. They keep pushing the boundaries of how much the Applesheeple will voluntarily endure cruel punishments before they finally break.
This model is not a pair of monitoring headphones, for audiophiles or something that sounds half as good as what the competition is offering at this price point. And yet...they have priced this pair which doesnt sound better than no-name chinese brand BT headphones priced at ~$55 at...a whooping $349. But still Apple fanboys (and who else?) will still buy this and shout down anyone who says anything but glorious praises about this ripoff. A fool and his money.
Sorry this is worthless with a phone that lacks the DAC for impeding high quality audio bit rate through BT wirelessly.

I tried Solo 3,and only good thing about them is wireless technology.Everthing else absolutely horrible-big chunk of trendy plastics and the sound(stereo)..well nothing you can buy for 350$ cannot possibly sound awful like this..(BS).If you're after sound quality run away from this to..Sony,Akg.Sennheiser,Beyerdynamics,Shure,Audio Technica..those brands are good in what they do,I'm a sound engineer and know few things about this.
These Beats crap are built for kids to wear them to school and back and they're supposed to look cool doing it.Only thing that price..parents beware!

is better quality now? bought $500 but less than 6months cable joint broke, bass not as deep sennheiser same price tag (better quality)

I predicted this happening the moment Apple took out the 3.5mm jack... and had acquired beats at that time.
It is very possible that they could have retained the 3.5 jack and launched the wireless headphones....... however they are not making a strong case of making people buy their new business venture unless people are kinda forced not to use the headphone jack.
Oh Apple.... i know you must get your money back from that lump sum you paid to acquire beats. So im sure the mark-up vs manufacturing cost is probably more than triple or quadruple.
All being said and considered. I would NOT be buying this overpriced item.
Il be leaving apple products one by one. Still using iPhone6 and will not be upgrading.
Apple could produce a better lightning plug as the connection to the wire always breaks in their charging wires.

You might as well drop by Mercedes forum and tell those people that have the money to buy a ford for crying out loud. Obviously this product is in direct competion against high end bose and Senheisser.
