Anonymous, 05 Sep 2017Bro its also made on 14nm I understand it's the same processor which has been used in P2 however the the battery is almost 40% smaller battery so I might lose 3.5-4hrs of SoT. I'm not a gamer or heavy application user but a frequent traveller and phone dependant!

Anonymous, 06 Sep 2017thats because google camera doesnt support dual camera... got your fact firstDo you even understand what my point is? All this time, every time a programmer wants to port MIUI camera to non-MIUI ROM, they're stuck because Xiaomi said the camera app is connected to MIUI framework. But this time, the same camera app works in stock Android. So that means Xiaomi has somehow found a way to break the connection between MIUI framework and camera app and make the app standalone (connected only to base Android framework).

Great move by Xiaomi. This will use Google's reach to get Xiaomi devices out to more people. Then when they see that Android is ruining the Xiaomi experience that most Mi fans are able to get they'll have the opportunity to upgrade to MIUI and end up with a Mi 5X!

Meanwhile since A1 is being spearheaded by Xiaomi they are probably getting a pretty nice payoff too courtesy of Google.

My biggest disappointment is why the hell Xiaomi retain it capatitive keys layout. It should be back - home - recent, like Google or AOSP always does. Though it just a little details but for Android purist this is something that matter.
