But comparing with moto g5s plus it much better and add to that the updates you will get directly from google
Its dual camera is better
USB Type C
IR blaster
Stock Android [Android One ]
Etc etc you can list various differences between the two
Every single security update will be pushed out
In Motorola's case you will get updates only one in 4-6 months
I am not entirely sure but u think that this phone has fast charging cause its twin the Mi 5x has fast charging also this will sell a lot cause this is not targeted at a single market but in various markers around the world

The hype for this phone got way out of hand, which makes this announcement now feel... underwhelming. In fact, at just bellow 200 Eur and yet still being an official "Android One", it really is an amazing piece of kit to run 3rd-party ROMs.
Can't wait to see what the future holds.

I think GSMA should test the battery endurance of the MIUI-running 5X and the Android One A1, to see whether MIUI brings down the battery life in any way.
Nevertheless, I hope this pushes Xiaomi towards using a more stock-looking interface for their MIUI, kind of like the change Lenovo has incorporated into it's UI.

Good news.. Slightly premium though lesser battery than RN4. But its okay for USB-C with fast charging, Dual camera, Stock OS with updates, MI's premium build over RedMI's..
Why should I buy this phone over moto g5s plus? If it had 4000 mah battery, then it would have been perfect mid ranger. With 3000mah battery and no fast charging this is just the phone of compromise.

Boring.
Stock android gets bored on longterm because of looks.
Nexus user/IOS user/Grace UX user.
I have used 3 stock androids in past,Galaxy Nexus/Lg Nexus 5 and android One phone for secondary purpose.

Just a rebranded Mi 5x with stock android lol. Xiaomi has gotten free stock of Snapdragon 625 from Qualcomm it seems.
