Anyway, i always missed my Zuk, cause i love ZUI interface, and this phone always catch me up, just because of the system. Your comment had put me down whenever i thought of buying this, cause i experienced some gps problems with my zuk z1. Anyway, as it is cheap, i gave a try, boy i'm happy, no problems with gps at all, phone is perfect and it's excellent for the price. Later i discovered that there's a moto z2 with ZUI, but now it's too late.

Anyway, my impressions so far are, so so back camera, good front camera, found it not fast for 4gb of memory (actually it's sometimes slow) and ZUI is the best. By the way, it's possible to find it for $120 or less nowadays, including shipping, really good deal.

Just a Chinese edition of the Motorola G5S (Google Play store recognize it as a G5S), with some hardware removed or changed.
I bought one 4GB+32GB module from JD.com and there is no compass at all, so it's hard to use this phone to navigate.
And this XT1799-2 use Lenove's ZUI firmware as the Lenovo ZUK phone series does, which is completely beyond the look and feel from the original Android.
I felt pretty bad so I returned the phone to the seller and get a refund.

The problem I see is phones that are not launched with Android O are not required to support Project Treble. Which means one OS upgrade and that's it.
Given that Andoird O has been available for testing for half a year, there's no excuse to launch phones with Nougat now.

150 mm is too big for 5.2" and 2800 mAh is too small for an almost 2018 mobile.

I would have said "all RAM, bad CPU", but the original Moto X had eight cores, with two of them used on the CPU. If the dual-core is not a typo, this phone will be big for Motorola, if they market it right. I think it would be an entry level device, but one with unique processors.
