More to the point, even the Apple website (right now) shows the pictures of the phone from its sides and back at first. It seems Apple is embarrassed about its front design and implementation. Terrible!

I have owned every iPhone since the 3GS. I finally bought the S8+ and will never go back to the iPhone unless it fully changes.
Edge to edge screen? I've had the best for 6 months now and I'm supposed to get excited about the iPhone doing it... Why?

Iphone brand value has been due to unique design. The iconic home button formed major part of that design.
Now with only screen at front, it just looks similar to phones from other manufacturers. It will not be having unique design that it is known for.
