I was waiting for XZ1 and it seems like a good phone but that measly battery is a huge deal breaker which is made worse by the fact that its small brother XZ1 compact a 4.6 incher has the same battery capacity.
On the other hand LG V30 despite having slightly lower capacity battery for a 6 incher, no removable battery, no second screen and odd aspect ratio doesn't seem like a deal breaker at all. LG definitely has a winner on their side, but its success will probably depend on how much they will be willing to drop the price in half a year as most people will be waiting for that including me.

Sony hasn't been good since it split from Ericsson!! Sonys screen technology and cameras are usually excellent and push the industry but there phones all look and feel the same...plain and dull. I am writing this on an Xperia Z5 my worst investment to replace what should have been a Note 7!
My Z5 was a a £600 handset when I bought it...3 months later it was worth £200 the depreciation of Sony handsets are bad. I doubt I will ever buy a Sony again which is sad to say considering there TV and PlayStation backgrounds is lacking in there phone research and development!

LG had my interest for sure even though I love Sony. I votes V30 but can't deny the compact is awesome. Too bad Sony doesn't cut prices as much as LG. I would totally buy the compact if that is the case.

Iphone 7 + new cpu+ new gpu = iphone 8
Note 7 + new cpu + new gou + one more cam + stupid 18,5:9 = n8
G6 + oled = v30
