Curious to see when V30 is launched in India and at what price..... LG normally prices its products a bit better than Samsung..... I am expecting the V30 (base model) to be priced at 55k... which compared to Note 8's 68k is a substantial difference. And going by the price history of previous flagships of these companies.... in 2-3 months, its price will drop and start selling at 40-45k, while Note 8's price would stubbornly remain high over 60k.

It's the brand 'Samsung' which makes the price expensive. I still think the price-quality ratio is not worth 1000 bucks. The V30 is better on all levels (just my opinion).

Modest Mind, 12 Sep 2017May the price war begin. I'm getting my popcorn, sitting back and relaxing :-))). By the time ... moreWay to expensive, but this is launchprice... Some fanboys will pay whatever LG asks.
The day you can buy the V30 in a store the price will go down.
And as soon as Huawei Mate 10 hits the market the price will drop even faster ...
Just wait a couple of months.

While we still do not know how V30 compares in performance with the Note8, I don't think LG has undercut the V30 enough

What are we talking about? Are we happy that V30 is slightly cheaper than the insanely expensive Note 8? Have we all lost our minds?
V30 is already extremely expensive, no need to compare it to the absolutely most expensive device on the market today.

It better be cheaper

Maybe the smaller display, less ram, inferior front camera and lack of potrait mode in rear cam are all the reasons for slightly lower prices.

I think this is a desperate strategy to gain customer attention. It seemed that LG not so confident with their latest product to compete with samsung or apple
