this is what you've paid for android devices.. slow update on their O.S .. Don't expect with OEM that it will follow google's orders..

"Oreo still less than 0.1% market share". Would have to expect that since no devices are on the market with Oreo yet?

hahaha...based on the distribution scores...most of the phones sre running on Marshmallow...thats 2 aged years...and then they complain of iPhone being behind when their own OS are not updated to the latest version.

now some fagdroid is gonna comment that we already have the advanced features that ur OS has got now. then please also reply why do you scream that you haven't got the latest Android on ur device...

I think google should make rules for all of OEM, if the OEM cannot give at least 2 major update for flagship lineup, and 1 major update for entry-mid tier lineup, they should be banned from android family

So, after about a year from launch, Nougat is still well bellow Marshmallow. Google must do something to decouple also the os from the vendor specific customization so it could push updates directly to phones.
Relying on their good will hasn't paid off.
I have the Vibe x3 which Lenovo has updated only once from 5.1 to 6 in June last year. It hasn't provided any updates (not even security) even though it was their flagship and it turns two this autumn.
