First of all, iPhone X is a new flagship by a few new terms of quality features (the new dot projector for Face ID, Animoji, AirPower, OLED screen provided by Samsung, and that's it), a dual camera with improvements (scene recognition, new pictures effects, 4K 60FPS -a good one i must say-), fast charging of 50% in half an hour. Good things for a phone.
Now for price: 999$ or 1150€, ouch. Quite a hit in the pocket. No arguing with the price, it's high. Maybe way too high ( now waiting for RED flagship with holo display, bring your features for that 1200$ without the premium materials), but, yes, it's a BUT, let's reflect the price of manufacturing and the costs of components:
-display from Samsung (OLED), from the rumors, it's the most expensive ~120$
-stainless steel frame ~ in-house, it bumps the price a bit
-the rest, by partners (battery, cameras, sensors, Qi chip and others) ~ maybe another 100$ or more
The rest is the services, advertising, management, manufacturing processes. And so on
I am an iPhone user (6s, no 7, no jack, clickable button, bigger camera surface bump), but it's not so exciting enough (others will say with hype they cannot wait to get the hands on it)
A thing to add more and it would have been even better (the touch id sensor under screen), they had to install it under the screen and they had plenty of time to resolve the matter of software.
For android phones, i like the xz premium (4k HDR screen, 960fps)
1. After 10 years there is still no dual SIM!
2. Bezelless? Or just all sides same bezel? To be bezelles, I think, it has to be less than 1 mm bezel.

AnonD-566988, 13 Sep 2017A price that suits the phone.. If we look at the phone and the features, it should be around 7... moreWhite the Highest screen to body ratio, glass design and stainless steel frame, it surely doesn't look like a mid range android. The reason that it is so fast is not iOS, iOS 11 is heavier than Android O, but it's the industry leading SoCs. And I also don't think it's worth €1500, that's why it costs € 1150 (lel)
But seriously, €1150 for the 64Gb is too much and I don't expect many people to buy it. This year, their prices are a bit high, but I'm sure next year will be better in terms of pricing because they will probably make a big and a small iPhone X successor which has to be cheaper than the completely new, completely R&D-cost-packed X. It's always like that. The 2012 retina MacBook Pro was a first-gen device (like iPhone X), it was completely new, but over time, the price shrank.
And that's the reason why I always wait for the 2nd gen, even better the 3rd gen, and why I bought the iPhone 7 which was more like a 6ss and I'm fine with that. I also don't regret to not have waited one year. I think they even passed on some R&D cost to the 8 and 8 Plus, because they are also pretty pricey for what they have to offer over the € 250 cheaper iPhone 7.
SD card slot, 4gb ram, no camera hump ( or even a nicer looking one), a lower price point ( especially in the UK as it is £999)
Oathbreaker, 13 Sep 2017Most people are ignoring what iOS11 will bring by September 19 which is file manager and a dra... moreI have file manager on my 200usd cyanogen phone for few years. ghost commander. network access. ftp access. dual panel.
If all it took was an extra 200 bucks for Apple not to skimp on all these things for all these years, I think most of us would have paid for it a long time ago... I know I would have. Can't wait for November 3rd.
Full Display with 5.2 or 5.3 inch Mobile Phone with a bigger battery
I'm amazed to see some fellas still disliking this masterpiece of a phone. The iPhone X is definitely on my wish list as its gonna be better phone than I ever expected. Imagine a hexa core processor in a freaking iPhone. This machine is surely gonna be one hell of a cellphone and something to beat not just in 2017 but also on 2018.
Yann, 13 Sep 2017Dude, my old Nokia N8, produced in 2010, was with OLED display. That was 7 years ago. Not 4. T... moreso what? Nokia now uses IPS displays, technology advancement right there lol. Who cares 4, 5, 7 years. Even if it was 20 years back. Amoled displays just got good 3-4 years back. Without the troublesome burn in like your old Nokia N8.
Harsenik, 13 Sep 2017What are you talking about?!??! MMS is there a far as I know since the beginning2009 dude ios 3.0 Original iphone got nothing and liked it.
2002 SE t68i a great phone had it. I had it and the camera as well.
2006 n93 had 640 x 480 recording, took until 2009 for iphone to get any recording.
Also n93 had a front camera.
All OLED has screen burn-in issue, iphone X will not exempt from that.
Jim, 13 Sep 2017Apple is officially follower not leader anymore They have never been. Just at the beginning. After that they want to be the best at things, not the first. And I'm not one-sided. The Galaxy S is always a combination of every feature out there which is also gud
nkwama, 13 Sep 2017iPhone X is ugly af. I will go for Essential or Mi Mix 2Essential? 😂😂
Foo, 13 Sep 2017No one is bothered by the super ugly camera bump on the iphone xMaybe because it is not super ugly. For me, a big camera bump signals either a phone which is too thin, or a camera which takes great photos. Just look how big the "camera bump" on DSLRs is
Harsenik, 13 Sep 2017What are you talking about?!??! MMS is there a far as I know since the beginningthe original iphone could not send mms
this explains how late apple is running in so many aspects
Dual SIM is my wish list
