Really. And can yoy really notice a difference based on the specs you just mentioned. The so called prenium phones today are just status symbols, a statement of class. The higher the price the more prenium the phone (since only a few or some fanboys/fangirls can afford them).
Did you know an honor 9, axon 9, one plus etc can do 95% of what the so called premium phones can and sometimes better (e.g battery and performance).
My advice is buy according to your budget or better wait an buy one year after the sheeps have moved on to the next best thing ever

The bezels look big on picture because of the large rounded stainless steel sides.
If you look at it from an angle, the screen seems much closer to the edge.
Though it may not look as impressive as the curved screen of an S8, I think it's great for ergonomy.

AnonD-234961, 14 Sep 2017The Essential, Sharp, LG and Samsung have bottom bezels which the iPhone X does not have. Ther... moreI absolutely admire Apple for their beastly and yet efficient CPUs and GPUs. Also for their ability to properly refine a feature - they actually managed to make face unlock secure and useful. And their new portrait mode (variable lighting settings) is fantastic as well. And FINALLY 4k@60fps on a phone.

But that deign is UGLY AF. Especially that stupid top bar. I'm fine with a phone that is not symmetrical, but having a "THICC" bar cut into the display is just STUPID. And those side borders are also very thick. That completely destroys the bezel less look.

When it comes to design, the proper list is -

1. Mi Mix
2. Mi Mix 2
3. The old Aquos lineup
3. s8,s8+,note8,v30,g6
4. Essential
5. Those cheap Chinese ones (Doogie Mix, etc)
6. iPhone X

{not including the new Aquos ones as they aren't released yet}

Maybe if they released this design in 2014, I'd consider it nice. But with phones like the Mi Mix around........nope.........the iPhone X is f***ing ugly.

It's funny LG said the v30 had 82 percent. Then the specs for this phone after said 81 percent and now they've changed it to 83 or whatever it says on here. Get your facts straight.

The iphone X looks great on the back but the front can be enhanced with an ios update that permanently places the status bar at the top using black that blends in with the bezel. And when playing videos or anything the status bar would remain there.

Good bezel-less design, it's nice to see that Apple has embraced this design (Sony, wake up!).

Though I must admit, the overall look and screen-to-body ratio of the iPhone X is not as impressive as the LG V30, Note8, S8+ or the Original Mi Mix. Could be because of the screen cut-out or because of the small-yet-noticable bezel all around the Phone, unlike in the S8 (2 sides) and the Mi Mix (3 sides).

The V30 is a great phone, I just wished that they used the left over bezels wisely by including front facing stereo speakers which would make sense for a phone that is focused on media consumption.

But that is fine as Pixel 2 XL will include that feature but not stereo probably.

AnonD-623516, 14 Sep 2017no matter the specification and features. no phone is worth more than 600 € and then comes app... moreIt IS WORTH paying more than $600 for a phone, because that price tells that that phone with that price will stay relevant in the next few years.

For example, my sister used to have an LG G4 that went boot loop a few weeks ago, and she bought it for $400 last year (yes, 2016, not 2015).
Now it probably costs $300 at maximum, and the phones within that price range don't have as beautiful, sharp, and clear QHD display, as powerful and very competent camera (against even the latest 2017 flagships), as great speakers (at least some of them are weak in comparison, because the G4's speaker is extremely loud for a phone), and as feature-packed as the G4.

Greater example is an iPhone. It'll cost you $1200, but in the next 4 years of it being supported, it will just cost probably $300 at max, and will stay relevant. It's the same story as to why the iPhone 4s is still being used by many people today, and that thing just costs $400 at the main launch.

Why does it even matter? No one going to measure the phone bezel before buying it. You gonna bring a ruler to measure every angle of the phone bezel? All bezel less phone look kinda the same to me. Its all screen. One day you cant distinguished any of the bezel less phone. It just a slab of screen. Im hoping to see software war or rise of android one phone.
