Google to launch a new payments product in India dubbed Tez Comments

So Google renamed Google Wallet to Android Pay because it cannot competes with Apple Pay and now it is abandoning Android Pay for Tez. Google just love renaming stuff and fragmentation.

That will render what is already built-in (Android Pay) a waste! Why even care about working on something entirely new.

It would have been great if they had worked rather on Android Pay to make it work with UPI.
