I remember batches of Xiaomi Mi 2 and its variants sold in 3-4 seconds each. 60 seconds is rather slow.

I bought a different model (Mi Max 2) and it arrived to Sweden about 3 weeks later. I had to pay added import/sale-tax in order to get it out from the postoffice. Be sure to get support for "Global ROM" though (= with Google apps pre-installed). Im not sure about Global ROM on the MI Mix 2 model - perhaps you should wait for user-reviews or ask them directly via e-mail.

Good job Xiaomi in China, even faster than Samsung, but very close.
Now do it worldwide, especially in the US and other European countries, and I'll also be waiting for less than a minute of 1B pre-orders.
