I do believe Sense and Touchwis are far better that stock and also believe that most people did not even used sense for years, so android- then next best selling(samsung) and the pattern goes on and on(other than huawi for obvious reasons _aka ugliness and lag) .

Sony is popular outside of US and I never see them copy Samsung. Oh, and by the way, I hate the iPhone design that ranged from 6S to 8; therefore I am not an iSheep. You can have your features; just expect poor performance in 5 months. No, this is not "some news article", use it yourself and you'll see.

I'd personally like having more heavly modified OEM skins because they add personality and a ton of new features that stock Android will probably never have.
If all phones had stock Android... Why would there even be so many manufacturers?
Stock Android is like the milk ice cream. A base for all the other flavours.
Y'all put the screenshots so wrong... XD

Am I the only one that noticed how 2 of the launcher pictures don't match the rest? (HTC and Samsung...I'm pretty sure those are NOT the default looks for either)
Anonymous, 17 Sep 2017Weird results considering that the Nexus/Pixel numbers are abysmal compared to any other phone... moreNot weird at all. The thing you need to realize is, every time Google announces a new Android version, people will learn all about *stock* Android. All new features, how it works, improvements vs past version, everything is presented in stock. They create expectations around that, not just something someone else said, they actually get to see stock Android working from numerous sources (be it corporate announcements, youtube videos, specialty sites such as this one, etc) -- and it seems like they really like it.
AnonD-617820, 18 Sep 2017Why dont all of Android vendors using Stock UI? It'd be great probably one of their flagship t... moreNo. The one and only reason why I'm a Samsung user since 2013 is because of its skin. Touchwiz and GraceUX and now Smsung Experience. Stock UI just can't compare with all the features I get from the skin. Not to mention Stock UI looks exactly the same from 5.0 to 7.0 and it's ugly on 8.0 unlike Samsung UI which brings different feels and features with each major update which sounds more like a major upgrade. Yes, Samsung did remove features from stock UI like notification priority from
0 but to be honest who uses that day to day. I have another phone with stock 7.1 and I've never used notification priority.
Why dont all of Android vendors using Stock UI? It'd be great probably one of their flagship to beat iOS, example: Mi7 and Samsung S9 using Stock UI instead of their boring MIUI and GraceUX.
ms' arrow launch is pretty good.
I use Nova on all my devices, more features and functionality to let you adjust every thing to suit your own needs, awesome app

I have been using arrow launcher on my s6, s7 and my Samsung tablet for a while now, and I love it. TouchWiz it's way too slow. I tried Google now and it was meh. Arrow gives way more options.
Anonymous, 17 Sep 2017Weird results considering that the Nexus/Pixel numbers are abysmal compared to any other phone... moreTotally agree. Each have their benefits in software. From HTC to Huawei to Samsung, Sony, LG and stock Nexus devices. Each have their features that people get used to and think they couldn't do without but once you change you realise other manufacturers have different features that make it a worthwhile switch.
Android such as Xiaomi, Oppo, Lenovo, Vivo similar like iphone launcher and it's bored to see, think that they should replace launcher, only Sony, Samsung, LG, Asus, Nokia and HTC who have their own creations and don't need to download on playstore.
