Stock Android is just too plain boring for me. The reason I like manufacturer ROM is because of inbuilt features for which I don't need to install a separate app, unlike on stock Android. Not into launchers & stuff. Manufacturer ROM offers better customization than stock Android and they come with features missing in stock version. As for bloatwares in manufacturer's user interface, in most cases, you can disable or uninstall them and they shouldn't cause any problem as long as they aren't running in the background. So I'd prefer Custom ROM of the manufacturer anyday over stock Android. I've always been using Samsung Phones since the very beginning, so their UI is quite familiar and I kinda like it. It's pretty good. I also like MIUI, it's a feature rich ROM.

I don't understand how manufacturers came to the mad idea, that people must like their sh**ty, unoptimized bloatware, instead of clean looks and snappy performance. What baffles me even more, is how they even succeeded in showing it down our throats. When you first boot up your TouchWiz(or pretty much just anything that bloated) it's like being greeted to a circus ffs.

I am so used to samsung skin from the start, that even stock UI makes me confused.. I have seen Touchwiz change so much from the start.. its entire evolution line is known to me.. and still the Grace UX might look different,, but I love how sammy kept the core design same.. anyway.. Apple UI is best for me,, simple, fast.. and helps in extremely well RAM management

i tried Nova on my G5 for a week, it was capable and useful but it caused overheating and battery drain to the point i had to remove it and install Google Now launcher.

Nova Launcher is quite good but I found organising apps into folders to be too much of a chore.

For me, it's still Sony.
Plain stock is too boring. Add some elegance to the UI while keeping it stock will simply steal my heart.
Thank you Sony for such a beautiful yet excellent software.
