I have never ever heard this damn loud phone speakers during my whole life. Not that phone speakers have never or ever will be any good for real music-listening, though... But phone calls on speaker, this phone is a great one for that. Definitely will hear what the other party says.

There are none excep... moreCompare the sizes of XZP and iPhone X/S8 side by side and then tell me the benefits. Which one looks bigger and takes more space in your pocket and which one is more comfortable to use? Your XZP with 5.46" screen is bigger than an S8+ with 6.2" screen. Bezels can save your phone once or twice, same can be achieved by a case.

And still noone knows whats compact about the xperia compact series, its just not as gigantic as the others. And why it cost more than ipSE, xperias only advantage over SE is the handwarmer function in winter, they sure get hot.

They should use 2Mp, f1.7, 1/2.3" sensor for super slomo. Much more sense. Also interesting in low light shooting.

Amongst other things I actually use my phone to make calls. I ordered an X compact earlier this year from Amazon. I specifically tested the call volume by calling the answer machine and even with volume set to max it was pathetically weak. Could barely hear it in a quiet room. So I dread to think what it would have been like in a busy airport or noisy pub. I just don't get why they do that. In the end I went for the Samsung A3 (2017) Very good for calls and a great phone/battery life although I do sometimes have to close apps when it occasionally stutters.

i only use sony phones
but unfortunately they never do anything about the loudspeaker for music videos or calls
this phone they claim is louder
but still much softer than most of the phones in the market
and thats a deal breaker for me

That phone is almost 2 times more expensive than xz1c.That's a good example for guys who say those big bezels are needed if you want to have front and rear cameras, dual stereo speakers, and etc etc.,. And BTW Xperias all look the same, whether it's XZ1C/XZS/XZP/XZ1. That example fits for all Xperias.
